BE A THIEF
As the world continues to get darker, it is important that we remember the light. The light we hold inside ourselves to make this world a better place. No one really knows why we are here or why these crazy things happen, but we do have the power to make it a beautiful experience where we can. And that is a power that no one, no government or no entity, can take from you.
As far as news goes, it has always been full of dread to scare us into submission and make us afraid of living. The next outbreak, the next act of terror, the next financial crisis; all keeping us in a lower vibration in order for us not to progress.
It is common knowledge by now that the news is informed and controlled by biased networks, owned by capitalists who hoard wealth in order to maintain control. None of this is groundbreaking ‘news’ to you. In these times, it is vital we remember that the SOUL is strong. KINDNESS is strong. LOVE is strong. Stronger than any broadcast they try to insert into our brains.
Drawing a small doodle in a hidden place, ready for a stranger to see one day, is a deeply powerful act. Pursuing your dreams in a world where all feels uncertain is a deeply powerful act. Getting up every day and making your bed is a deeply powerful act. In a world where we can feel powerless against titans who may never know what it is like to find joy in the perseverance of struggle, when we see that light shines brightly through the cracks, showing us the way forward, the thrill of defying the odds, remember the power you have. They may never get to experience the love that we have for our world. A cold life they undoubtedly live, and a cold life is an uncreative life, which I wouldn’t wish upon anyone.
Humans are destined to be creative, and this is what they try so hard to eliminate from us. Being creative is an act of love and also an act of defiance. The love letter you write to yourself each morning in your journal is your freedom.
Wishing everyone has their moments of creativity, even if you have to steal them from time itself.
